As you creak open the trapdoor to the brewery’s cellar, a wave of bitter rot and wet fur wafts upward—sour beer, mold, and something older. The wooden stairs groan underfoot as torchlight spills into the gloom, illuminating a maze of overturned barrels, cracked kegs, and shattered crates.
Just beyond the rows of splintered casks, the shadows move—low to the ground and strangely synchronized. Glinting in the darkness are dozens of small skulls, their brains exposed and pulsating faintly with light, as swarms of rats emerge.

As the first rat swarm creeps forward, the air tightens—then you feel something press into your mind, “We see you… we see your thoughts.”.

Soon, after engaging with the brainy rodents, in the corner partially wedged between two casks, a boneless mass of skin and muscle twitches unnaturally, slithering upright with a wet, meaty sound. It has no proper shape—just a loose approximation of a humanoid figure that shouldn’t be moving… but is.
