- Ernault casts water breathing on everyone
- Left without Jourugomo
- Heddterria nat 20s insight about Sildar finding them
- Travelling along the rocky shoreline
- Find Joru model – voodoo doll – hollow log on crab legs, poison dripping out and Hedd knows its noxious but not poison but made by an expert
- As the party travels north along the cliffs, they spot a makeshift camp on the beach below: a few half-wrecked longboats, soggy tents, and ragged people
- waves and tide as ambience: ragged acolytes huddled around a fire that keeps getting snuffed out by sea spray, voices nearly lost in the roar.
- unsettling details: one acolyte cradles a bone holy symbol like a teddy bear, another mutters in Anaurian (words the PCs don’t know)
- Wearing insignias of Myrkul – Ularun Mortus – High Priest of Myrkul —- They carry small tokens of Myrkul (bone charms, blackened driftwood carved with skulls), making their allegiance obvious.
- They hail the party as “fellow travelers,” trying to trick them into camp before attempting to rob them. “Could you spare some supplies? Oh that’s not enough.” Soon, the desperation becomes clear.
- the acolytes try to jump the PCs with makeshift weapons, screaming about “supplies for the chosen of Myrkul!” Some changed to boars. Party made short work, at the end one begs for mercy and info spills out.
Found out:
- Ularan Mortus tried to sail a cursed galleon (the dreadnaught). Talos cultists lured it to the rocks near the Tower of Storms. Mortus was defeated, fled overboard, and left them to die. Now Fheralai Stormsworn claims the vessel and feeds it songs. The ship itself is alive, inhabited by a soul called Emberlost. A bard is chained inside—they hear his voice night and day. The ship is restless, groaning and shifting like it wants to go back to sea. Fheralai has dozens of anchorites and a second-in-command (Gol Badwind).
- Dealt with him and moved on. Loot was meagre, the weird charms, etc.
- Cliffsides, coming around bend and seeing hulk in distance Feeling being watched – figures on top of the cliff, they disappear. High piles of rock and kelp, etc
