It’s late in the day, the sun is low on the horizon as you make your way along the rocky beach. After some time you notice the deepening orange rays reflecting off of an object ahead. Something that is clearly not made up of the rock, kelp, seashells and sand that surround you.
Approaching the Dreadnaught, little snatches of music, feeling of being watched
- Reconned the the ship with a bird
- There are ropes hanging off the starboard side
- There is cover up to the ship
- Went back up the coast to long rest and plan
- Ford offered a 1 minute bag of holding
- Ernault refreshes water breathing and animate dead
- Ford uses 6 hit dice
- Long Rest
- Buff up – Aid, etc
After scouting a formulating a plan, the party begins it’s assault on the Dreadnought.
An armored dreadnaught made from metal and bones rests on a rocky outcrop in the bay. Flames leap from a brazier mounted to its mainmast and its ragged sails are stitched from worn leather. Barbaric half-orcs patrol its decks and standby, ready to employ its deadly siege weapons. A giant’s skeleton clutching a halberd is lashed to its bow. Over a dozen zombies are impaled on stakes set into the rocks around the vessel.
- They attack from multiple sides: Tookit from the sea, Olwë from the air (invisible), the rest cautiously from the shore
- After an initial blast from above which causes death and damage to many of the Hal Orc cultists on board, everyone leaps into action
- Fherelai Stormsworn, the head priestess of this bunch ascends from below to see what the disturbance is
- The battle is thick, as she has much power. Cultists drop. The Skeleton figurehead takes some swings, There are duelling Spirit Guardians
- Eventually the party is victorious.
- They begin poking around, healing etc
- Staff of healing is at 1, needs to get to 0 to recharge, could explode
- Not realizing what they are doing, they trigger the Hellfire Orb causing significant damage to themselves
