Also known as Tasha, Zybilna
Her Legacy & Influence
Iggwilv, also known as the Witch Queen, once ruled from the caverns, using her demonic knowledge and magical power to amass a hoard of treasures.
Even though she is long gone, her presence lingers—the caverns still contain her defenses, demonic rifts, and remnants of her magic.
She is believed to have written parts of the Demonomicon of Iggwilv, a treatise on the Abyss and its demons.
Her Fall
Iggwilv imprisoned the demon lord Graz’zt for a time, but her ambitions led to a climactic battle.
This battle broke her power, forcing her into exile.
After her disappearance, her kingdom crumbled, and the caverns were lost.
Herstory
Tasha was raised by Baba Yaga alongside the other three hags from this adventure: Endelyn, Bavlorna and Skabatha. The three hags were jealous of their adopted sister, because she was more talented and generally doted on by Baba Yaga. Tasha grew up to be a powerful spellcaster and left home. (I should be clear, she went by “Natasha”, then briefly “Hura,” then settled on “Tasha” for a while.)
She spent a lot of time in the Abyss working as an apprentice to an archmage. This is where she became known as Iggwilv and immersed herself in their politics. She became obsessed with summoning fiends, and finally summoned Graz’zt – a demon prince that she pried information from. This information became the basis of the Demonomicon of Iggwilv
