As you creak open the trapdoor to the brewery’s cellar, a wave of bitter rot and wet fur wafts upward—sour beer, mold, and something older. The wooden stairs groan underfoot as torchlight spills into the gloom, illuminating a maze of overturned barrels, cracked kegs, and shattered crates.
Just beyond the rows of splintered casks, the shadows move—low to the ground and strangely synchronized. Glinting in the darkness are dozens of small skulls, their brains exposed and pulsating faintly with light, as swarms of rats emerge.

As the first rat swarm creeps forward, the air tightens—then you feel something press into your mind, “We see you… we see your thoughts.”.

Soon, after engaging with the brainy rodents, in the corner partially wedged between two casks, a boneless mass of skin and muscle twitches unnaturally, slithering upright with a wet, meaty sound. It has no proper shape—just a loose approximation of a humanoid figure that shouldn’t be moving… but is.

  • Fought a Boneless and rat swarms. The used confusion and there was much psychic battling before the party won the battle
  • COntinued down the hall to where some dead rats lay
  • Solved mosaic puzzle quickly
  • Fought Giant centipedes, which Gio hates!
  • Fought Giant Inferno Spider
  • Found lots of loot/potions/magic tome
  • Gio got a beer named after him (it’s hoppy!)

You can move an object or a creature with your mind. As an action, you target one loose object that is Large or smaller or one willing creature, other than yourself. If you can see the target and it is within 30 feet of you, you can move it up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Alternatively, if it is a Tiny object, you can move it to or from your hand. Either way, you can move the target horizontally, vertically, or both. Once you take this action, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest, unless you expend a Psionic Energy die to take it again.
