bonerunner


The city is gripped by fear after a rash of violent murders committed in the shadowed streets near the old sewers. Survivors whisper of skeletal wolf-men. As rumors spiral, the guards grow hesitant, unwilling to investigate further. When one of the victims turns out to be a friend of the party Mouse, a streetwise sneak and old companion—they’re drawn into the tunnels below to hunt the killers.

What they find is worse than expected: undead bonerunners, and the twisted necromancer behind them, operating out of a makeshift lair in the old sewer system. The killings aren’t random—he’s looking for someone… or something.

Starting at 1st level, You can see through the deepest gloom. You have darkvision out to a range of 300 feet. In that radius, you can see in dim light as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light.

As an action, you can magically share the darkvision of this feature with willing creatures you can see within 10 feet of you, up to a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of one creature). The shared darkvision lasts for 1 hour. Once you share it, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of any level to share it again.

A silvery beam of pale light shines down in a 5-foot radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range. Until the spell ends, dim light fills the cylinder.

When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it is engulfed in ghostly flames that cause searing pain, and it must make a Constitution saving throw. It takes 2d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Three illusory duplicates of yourself appear in your space. Until the spell ends, the duplicates move with you and mimic your actions, shifting position so it’s impossible to track which image is real. You can use your action to dismiss the illusory duplicates.
